Baby Showers

There are a lot of babies in my life right now! Until about a year ago, I had never even been to a baby shower - but I think I'm getting the hang of them, haha! I love making gifts, as you can tell from my earlier blog entries. I started crocheting not too long ago, and I wanted to make a hat. I searched and searched, but every pattern I found was too... something. Too fancy, too plain.. So I made my own!

I made a few with different colours for my Etsy store for anyone else looking for a unique shower gift!

Glass Tiles Are Fun!

I thought I'd post a picture of the kind of work I've been doing lately.  I've been mounting images on scrabble tiles and glass tiles and coating them with a hard resin.  I really love the effect and am so pleased with my work.  I had my first sale on etsy, and I'm so excited!

Here's the one I sold:

Well I've been branching out in my crafting...

After posting my knitwork on Etsy, I've been exploring other avenues and have made some accessories and jewellery.  I'm really enjoying working with Scrabble and glass tiles.  I have enjoyed how Etsy has given me a reason to get so crafty lately and I am having a blast!  Check out my new goodies!  I'm so proud....

Oooohhh Intarsia

Here is my first and only successful foray into intarsia knitting.  Intarsia = tangled mess that I can only cope with on the small scale of a wrist band.
